	Field Procedures 2002 & 2003
	Field procedures for 2002 and 2003 were nearly identical to those used in 2001, apart from the following:
	Each of the four field crews consisted of 3 members and a GPS receiver. Differential correction was generally performed using community-type base stations rather than receivers set up on nearby points of known location. Tree heights were measured using clinometers.
